Nike Footwear
Nike New Lights & Under the Radar Packs
Nike kicked off the campaign by introducing the latest generation of Mercurial and Tiempo boots. The Mercurial Superfly 7, Vapor 13 and Tiempo Legend 8 are all new and improved, ready to make a splash as the season kicks off.
Mercurial upgrades include the integration of high intensity yarns into the knitted upper to provide a softer and more comfortable fit, as well as a first-ever Flywire and Flykit melded construction.
Tiempo Legend remains Nike’s stalwart leather option, however several advancements have been made on the previous models. The stitchless, diamond-quilted upper and Quadfit mesh forefoot are just two examples — read our Tiempo 8 highlight for a greater analysis.
Phantom VNM and VSN round out the pack, with these boots receiving color updates and nothing more.
adidas Footwear
adidas Hardwired Pack
Good luck ignoring these. Predator, X, Nemeziz and Copa 19 fill out the adidas Hardwired Pack, with boots coated in solar green, aqua blue and magenta colorways.
The collection is set to be worn by some of the game’s brightest stars, including Leo Messi, Paul Pogba, Mohamed Salah among others as the new term begins.
