Adidas continues to be at the forefront of soccer boot evolution with the next line of Nemeziz boots. Today, the three-stripe brand unleashed Nemeziz 19, which like its predecessors is available in a style with laces (19.1) and without (19+).
So what makes Nemeziz 19 different than previous generations? We’re glad you asked.
Fit
In the Nemeziz 19+ model, adidas has implemented Tensiontape, a redesigned laceless striking surface that gives players the maximum ball-control area while offering a snug, comfortable support thanks to the 360 degree agility bandage wrap. An anatomical, mid-cut upper locks the foot into the boot, resulting in a barefoot-like feel.
Touch
While Tensiontape’s will be noticed primarily in terms of fit, it also plays an important role in helping with touches on the ball. The softness of the material, combined with the increased surface area of the upper, help to absorb impact and provide enhanced control.
Movement
Nemeziz 19 features a Torsion System frame designed to stabilize the foot and allow for unmatched traction and agility. The Agility Stud configuration, comprised of seven conical studs at the front and four at the back, optimizes rotation for constant changes in direction.
