adidas Predator 20 is Here

The latest generation of Predator boots has arrived with the drop of the adidas Mutator Pack. Since its first-ever model released in 1994, Predator has become an icon in the soccer world, synonymous with legends of the game who have donned the shoe.
Predator 20+ comes with several marked differences compared to previous models. “For 2020 we wanted to unleash Predator to a new generation. We knew that we had to create something completely different, go beyond evolution and deliver a new innovation, something that would intimidate opponents. DemonSkin is at the heart of this,” explains Ben Herath, the Football Design Director for adidas.
DEMONSKIN
DemonSkin on the Predator 20 is the result of years of research and data collecting. Adidas has incorporated 406 raised spikes on the forefront of the boot with the goal of creating a brand new interaction between the foot and the ball upon contact.
Each spike is methodically placed in order to line up with key points of contact with the ball, promoting increased control and the ability to generate more spin when striking.
SHAPE
The silhouette of Predator 20+ has also received an update. The sockfit collar is now higher, while the front is more low-cut creating a powerful form inspired by the extremes of nature.
PERFORMANCE
Also new on the Predator are outsole enhancing control zones and polyamide-injected layers that help stabilize the foot to enhance lockdown due to the lack of laces.
A two-plate stud configuration enables a 360 design where material from the upper wraps under the shoe. In combination with the collar, this provides players with a more comfortable fit and greater support throughout the boot.
Made famous by superstars including Zidane, Beckham and Gerrard, the adidas Predator legacy will now be carried on by the current wave of talent like Paul Pogba, Becky Sauerbrunn, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Tessa Wullaert.
