Adidas has today launched its next generation speed boot, X Speedportal, as part of the all new ‘Game Data’ pack. Available as both laceless + and laced .1 models, X Speedportal comes with a slew of updates from the outsole to the studs.
Carbon Fiber Soleplate
The design of the X Speedportal is driven by the idea that good players know how to create time and space, while great players leave both behind. These sleek cleats feature a full-length Carbitex carbon plate on the firm ground outsole for added flexibility and support, enabling players to be faster in any dimension.
Enhanced Upper
With the adidas X Speedportal, in particular the laceless + model, a secure lockdown is crucial in order to hug the foot comfortably. Adidas ticks all the boxes using a three-pronged approach: Speedskin upper, an adaptive PRIMEKNIT collar, and a lightweight carbon heel lock. Each of these play an important role in keeping players supported and steady in action.
Fun fact: X Speedportal is made using a series of recycled materials, with the upper constructed of at least 50% recycled content as part of adidas’ mission to help end plastic waste.
